Black winter truffles
(Tuber melanosporum Vitt) from Tuscany, created for seasoning and garnishing. It is ideal for bruschette, first course dishes, meat carpaccio, on bresaola, with cheeses, to give a special touch to salads.
How to use: Wash truffles under water to remove the salt, then cut into thin slices, slightly cook in olive oil and add to sauces for meats or pasta.
The liquid in the jar can also be added to the dishes towards the end of their cooking.
