A variety of mushrooms that are not cultivated commercially, but are gathered in the wild such as morel, chanterelle varieties and much more. Care must be taken when harvesting wild mushrooms because there are many poisonous varieties that have the same appearance as edible mushrooms.
COOKING DIRECTIONS:
Always wash the mushrooms before soaking. Put them in a bowl and pour the hot water over the mushrooms & soak until softened, about 15 - 20 minutes. Excellent addition to meats, fishes, pastas, salad, soups & sauces!
